Beginning his jewellery apprenticeship with Amies Jewellers over 35 years ago, Richard is a highly experienced jeweller with a passion for designing and hand making heirloom jewellery.
With a particular interest in supporting growth within the jewellery industry, Richard has trained many jewellery apprentices and regularly participates as a judge at the annual Jewellery Apprentice Design Awards.
When he is not working, a spot of golf is on the cards, and he is more than happy to participate in the annual Jewellery Gold Day a charity event benefitting the Royal Children’s hospital.
Richard’s world includes the varied aspects of jewellery repairs and restoration work. He enjoys problem solving and thinking outside the box, which means a creative solution is always in store for your jewellery.
Richard’s particular speciality is creating fitted wedding bands and eternity rings, created to suit your engagement ring exactly!
